Take a look around and create your account to keep up to speed with the SW Michigan Tea Party. On the Right Side of our page is an area for Upcoming Events. The area is arranged so as events draw closer the event will appear. Once you are registered, you can access more great items on the website. You can send email between members, chat, blog and post your opinions in the forum. You may choose to add photos, and so much more. Soon the site will grow bigger and better as the Tea Party continues to grow, we will adapt to meet your needs.

Calendar Information: Welcome, Information on the Calendar/Events for the SW Michigan Tea Party Website.

When you are ready & finished reading this article... click on the Events tab of the main menu. This will bring up our calendar for the Month. Toward the bottom you can add an event for everyone to see. It will be published after the moderators review the information. You can also select a category to view the events. The categories are setup by Tea Parties at the moment. So if you wish, for example, to view only the Allegan County Tea Party events; just select that category; and click on reset. You can also click on any one of the categories right under the Calendar.

Your Web Team.

Forum Information: Once you are registered peruse the menu tabs. Highlight the My Page Tab, and scroll down to Forum and click. Here you will find a rich area for posting all sorts of Informaiton. You will find links for Recent Discussions, Your Discussions, Categories (which are set up for various Tea Party Organizations), Your Profile, yes the Rules, and help. This is still a work in progress, and if you don't see a Category, please let your web team know. You can also access the forum from your profile using the bottom tabs.

Profile Information: Now on to the fun stuff. Once you have registered, hover over My Page, and click My Profile. This is where we as a group can get to know you. Add a photo of yourself, display your contact information, See what articles you might have written, Check your forum for updates, additional contact information, your messages, and your groups. Your Web Team has set up each Tea Party Organization as a group, and you can get bulletin board messages for just the group. Right now each group is an open enrollment, but soon that will change for security reasons. You can join a group by hovering over My Page and clicking on Groups. Let the your Web Team know, and you can be the administrator of your group. Just send us an email.

IM Mailbox, once you log into the site, you will see an IM Mailbox on the left. You can send and receive message right from the website. You can also check messages at the bottom of your profile page.

Lastly on your profile page, you can make connections with others in your groups, or your friends. Just go to the other persons page, and click connections, and send them a note. It's very easy.
